The Twin City Steel re-sign Marshall Cook(1993) the 6' 195lb forward played 4 years of high school hockey winning a state championship in his sophmore year. He also played AAA hockey for Omaha Jr. Lancers of the NAPHL before coming to the Steel in the 12-13 season. Cook was traded to Peoria where his season was cut short due to a hand injury. Marshall has a renewed vigor of chasing his dream to play college hockey next season. "Speaking with Marshall and a few of his former teamates, I feel that Marshall has a lot to offer our team next season." said head coach Aaron Koosmann "We, meaning my self and the new ownership have set the bar high for the upcoming season, we have already demonstrated our ability here to move players on to college rosters now we have to win a division tittle in the toughest tier 3 hockey division in the country, I feel Marshall is a piece of the puzzle that can help us accomplish that goal."
