Twin city steel forward tenders with the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
Calvin Miska attended the 3HL top prospects this past weekend in Frisco, TX playing for team Minnesota. This proved to be just the opportunity that he needed to get to the next level as he has tendered to play with the Wichita Falls Wildcats for the 2013-2014 season.
While with the Steel Miska put up 9-16-25 with 99 penalty minutes. It was that firey attitude and drive to succeed that led to Miska's tender with the Wildcats.
“I am proud of Cal. He is 100% focused on playing college hockey. His off Ice commitment to his development is off the charts. He is highly coachable and will do just fine in the NAHL playing for the Wildcats. This opportunity is well deserved and I am sure Cal will make the most of it. I wish him all the best.” Said head coach Aaron Koosmann.
Next up for the Steel is the NA3HL draft which is held on June 11th, followed by the Steels tryout camp July 12-14 at the Vadnais Sports Center in Vadnais Heights, MN
