Zehnder Signs Pro Contract

The Twin City Steel, proud members of the NA3HL are proud to announce that forward Yannick Zehnder will be signing a professional contract with EV Zug's (Swiss National League A) new farm team which will begin play in Switzerland National B League in the 2016-17 season.  The team is closing the gap between the Junior Elite A and National League A teams.  Zehnder will be one of the younger players on the roster at just 18 years of age.

Zehnder has played 33 games with the Steel amassing 21 Goals and 26 Assists with a +17 rating.

"Yanni is a one of a kind player "said Steel head coach Jay Witta. "His playmaking ability and drive to succeed is so fun to watch.  He has fit in perfectly once joining the Steel and I know he will have a long career ahead of him."

Zehnder joins former Steel players Jonas Houvinen and Alexander Konnov to ink pro deals following their time with the Steel.

The Steel will be competing in the NA3HL Silver Cup beginning March 30th with first game against St. Louis.
