HEAD COACH ANDREW KOLB AND FOUR PLAYERS HEADED TO THE NA3HL TOP PROSPECTS TOURNAMENT

The North American Tier III Hockey League Top Prospects Tournament will take place February 27-28 in Plymouth, Michigan at the USA Hockey Arena.

With the New Ulm Steel currently at first place in the West Division, head coach Andrew Kolb will be coaching the Frontier/West(Grey) team alongside Yellowstone Quake head coach Ryan Theros.

Ryan Smith and Alex Nagel are two of the 12 forwards that were selected to the Frontier/West(Grey) team. This season, Smith has accumulated 14 goals and 17 assists for a total of 31 points and Nagel has 21 goals and 30 assists for a total of 51 points. Smith and Nagel will be playing with fellow West Division forwards Logan Nelson from the Alexandria Blizzard and Matt Moran and Brandon Bissett from the Granite City Lumberjacks.

Defensemen, Steven Mordini was also selected to play on the Frontier/West(Grey) team. Mordini has recorded 10 goals and 19 assists for a total of 29 points in 36 games played this season. Mordini will be playing with fellow West Division defensemen Alec Skar from the Alexandria Blizzard, Alex Flicek from the Breezy Point North Stars and Wyatt Toll from the Willmar WarHawks.

Ryan Kenny was selected to be a goaltender on the 18U Selects White team coached by La Crosse Freeze Head Coach Jon Vaillancourt. This season, Kenny has a save percentage of 0.933% and has registered four shutouts.
