LANGWORTHY COMMITS TO BETHEL UNIVERSITY

The New Ulm Steel is proud to announce that forward Austin Langworthy has committed to play MIAC (NCAA D-III) hockey at Bethel University.

Langworthy, a former Mankato West High School Scarlet, was traded to the Steel from the Breezy Point North Stars midway through the 2017-18 season. He played 25 games with the Steel where he tallied 12 goals and 15 assists.

Prior to his time with the Steel, Langworthy spent two-and-a-half seasons with the North Stars where he recorded 54 goals and 61 assists in 121 games played.

Langworthy, 21, was selected and participated in the 2016 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament and was the North Stars’ top goal scorer during the 2016-17 season.
