Vaughn NA3HL Goaltender of the Month: Robbie Goor, Twin City Steel
Twin City goalie Robbie Goor, 18, was just about perfect during the month of November. The native of Anoka, Minnesota, appeared in four games during the month of November and allowed just a single goal. Goor (6’3/200) faced 99 shots during the month and stopped 98 of them. In his first two games on the month, Goor posted back-to-back shutouts of Breezy Point on November 7th and 15th. He then made 41 saves in a 4-1 win at Minnesota on November 22nd. He finished the month with a relief appearance against Breezy Point in which he stopped all 11 shots that came his way. During November, Goor would end up with two shutouts, a 0.29 goals against average and a 99% save percentage. For the season, Goor has an 8-4 record with a 2.72 goals against average and a 91.0% save percentage. “The month that Robbie had was outstanding. He helped us ride out a 5 game win streak, which places us 3rd in our division. Robbie's confidence is growing everyday which is contagious around the team. He has all the tools to repeat November again in December,” said Twin City General Manager Bryant Black.
