Former Steel Blueliner makes NAHL Top Prospects

It was just one year ago that former Steel player Kyle Wagner (St. Francis, MN 1996) was playing forward for the Steel.  During the 2014-15 season Kyle Wagner led the Steel in Scoring with 14 goals and 19 assists with a +/- of -8 as well as being one of the Steels Top Prospects. Following the strong campaign Wagner was tendered by the Aberdeen Wings.

After a short stint to begin the 2015-16 season in Aberdeen Wagner returned to the Steel where he made the tranistion to defense and immediately ascended as one of the top defenseman in the NA3HL. In just 13 games Wagner was credited with 4 goals and 11 assists with a +/- of +12.  It was at this point where he got the call to the Magicians of the NAHL and his presence was quickly felt.

In 20 NAHL games Wagner has 4 goals 9 assists and a +/- of +7, and now has earned a spot on the Central Divisions Top Prospects Team as being one of the Division/Leagues top defenseman.

Congratulations Wags!
