The 2016 North American 3 Hockey League Showcase Tournament will take place December 16-18 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. All 48 NA3HL teams will play three regular season games at this league-wide tournament.

The schedule is made by matching teams up based on their league standings for even matchups. The New Ulm Steel is currently ranked fourth in the West Division and 25th in the league.

New Ulm will start the tournament at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, playing the West Michigan Wolves. The West Michigan Wolves are ranked third in the East Division and 21st in the league.

Saturday, Dec. 17, New Ulm will take on the Point Mallard Ducks at 10 a.m. The Point Mallard Ducks are ranked fourth in the South Division and 30th in the league.

New Ulm will play their final game of the tournament at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 against the Roc City Royals. The Roc City Royals are ranked fourth in the Northeast Division and 31st in the league.
