The New Ulm Steel is proud to announce that forward Mason Trowbridge has committed to play NAIA hockey at Concordia University Ann Arbor.
Trowbridge, a native of Delevan, New York, was a member of the Steel during the 2017-18 season where he played in a total of 17 games and tallied five points. He also played 26 games for the Hudson Havoc of the USPHL before coming to the Steel in December.
“I am blessed to say that living the dream became a reality while being a part of the New Ulm Steel. It was a piece of the puzzle within my journey to become a man. I believe Concordia University adds to that puzzle and offers everything I need to better myself as a hockey player and as a man who’s just living the dream,” Trowbridge said.
Prior to his year of junior hockey, Trowbridge played two seasons on the St. Francis High School Prep team and part of the 2015-16 season playing for the Buffalo Red Raiders U18 team.
