The New Ulm Steel is proud to announce that Steel Captain Jarrett Cammarata has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Bethel University.

“I chose Bethel because it is a wonderful school and will be the best place for me to further my hockey career and to get a great education,” Cammarata said.

Cammarata, a native of Maple Grove, Minnesota, spent almost two seasons with the Steel after playing 25 games for the former NAHL’s Coulee Region Chill during the 2017-18 season. With the Steel, he tallied 32 goals and 42 assists in 62 games played.

“I want to thank my teammates, billets, and of course my family for everything they have done for me. Lastly, I want to thank the whole Steel organization for the past two years,” Cammarata said.

Cammarata, 20, spent his high school hockey days at Maple Grove High School where he served as an alternate captain during the 2016-17 season.
